Harris Kyriakides LLC Christmas Charity Donation

As part of Harris Kyriakides LLC commitment to support the local community, we have resolved for this year as well to substitute the dispatch of commercially bought Christmas cards with a contribution to a local charitable organisation. This Christmas we have decided to make our donation to the Christina Α. Apostolou foundation. The Foundation helps  children in need for treatment in Cyprus and abroad, assists disadvantaged families and has also created a blood bank, which actively supports the local Larnaca General Hospital. Also, Christina Α. Apostolou foundation established the "Youth String Orchestra Foundation Christina A. Apostolou", composed of 22 talented young violinists.  In addition, it has undertaken, in cooperation with the Municipality of Larnaca, the refurbishment of the children playground in Larnaca Municipal Gardens.

In a press release, issued on 29/12/2011 the foundation announces:
 
“The Board of Christina Apostolou Foundation wholeheartedly thanks the management and staff of Harris Kyriakides LLC for their decision to contribute to our foundation.
 
Actions like these, give us strength and courage to persevere.
 
All contributions and donations made to the Christina A. Apostolou foundation are used to financially assist children with chronic illnesses, and to support their effort to give themselves a better life and a brighter future.”
