Harris Kyriakides LLC advises on successful return of children in international child abduction matter

Harris Kyriakides LLC has advised on the successful return of two children in international child abduction matter.  The decision was issued by the Family Division of the High Court of Justice in the U.K. on the 22.3.2010.

Mr Justice Singer decided that the children, aged 7 and 2, should be returned to their father in the Republic of Cyprus by no later than 9.4.2010.  According to the decision of the Court, the mother had illegaly retained the children in the U.K. without the father's consent and notwithstanding that their habitual residence was in Cyprus. The decision was successfully enforced and the children were returned to Cyprus within the set timeframe.
