The Cyprus government has launched the Investors Service Centre, operating under the auspices of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism. The Centre aims at fostering foreign direct investments, attending foreign investors' needs as well as promoting Cyprus as an international business and investment centre.
Capitalizing on its strategic location, Cyprus has developed through the years into a reputable international services hub especially in the banking and shipping activities. Since Cyprus's accession to the European Union, its role as a business bridge between Europe, Asia and Africa is further being enhanced. Cyprus offers a unique basket of advantages to foreign investors utilising Cyprus as a base for conducting their business activities worldwide. The Centre operates as a full-service centre for foreign based companies exploring investment opportunities in Cyprus. It constitutes the central agency of information, support, and foreign investors´ relations. Moreover, recognizing the importance of serving the established foreign-based companies, the Centre also provides aftercare development aimed at anchoring existing investors in Cyprus.
